Flamenco Troupe Brings Global Flair to UWEC

UW-Eau Claire’s Artist Series provides members of the community with frequent opportunities to experience various cultures from around the world. On Wednesday, Feb. 27, the campus will play host to the Juan Siddi Flamenco Theatre Company, a group of Spanish and American musicians, singers, and dancers known for their passionate live performances. Under the direction of Siddi, a highly regarded contemporary Spanish choreographer, the company strives to preserve the unique art form of flamenco for audiences worldwide. The Juan Siddi Flamenco Theatre Company will perform at 7:30pm in the Ojibwe Ballroom of UWEC’s Davies Center. Tickets are $17 for the public, $15 for UW System faculty and staff and those 62 and older, and $7 for UW System students and children 17 and under.
