“'Hipster Revolution' was created with the theme of opposites of old and new in mind. I combined the idea of something old and respected, Abraham Lincoln, with something new that’s been created in our society today, the “hipster” stereotype. It not only exemplifies the changes that our society has gone through throughout the years but also points out the difference between a lasting legacy and temporary popular lifestyle. By using things that are known as “hipster” to accessorize Lincoln I wanted to emphasize the over-exaggeration of stereotypes in general.  It is a one-color lithograph made with an aluminum plate. ” – The Artist
