Whether you’re ready for it or not, it’s with this issue we officially declare it the Holiday Season in the Chippewa Valley. Tucked inside the latest issue you should have found our annual Holiday Handbook packed with info on ways to get jolly around here over the next six weeks. On page 16 you’ll notice several dozen businesses have joined forces with us again this year to promote A Buy Local Holiday. There you can read more about how you can keep the local economy strong and make a difference again this year.  In that spirit, on page 23 you’ll also find a merry menu of local gift ideas from The Local Store. The items featured there are just a fraction of what we have available, and even more will be added throughout the season so be sure to visit early and often! We’re also announcing our new In-Store Jingle Jams concert series. Starting on Black Friday, November 23, every Friday and Saturday night will feature a free 7pm set from a great local act in the Volume One Gallery. And finally, we wanted to let you know that the construction on Galloway Street outside our office and along Banbury Place is finally complete! The street is open and lookin’ good, so feel free to roll on by once again. Happy Holidays!
