The Children’s Museum of Eau Claire is looking at expanding to the second floor of its downtown location, adding nearly 4,500 square feet to the current space on Barstow. The extra space will be used for rotating exhibits on camping, local Native American cultures and farming, with two exhibits showing at any given time. Like the current exhibits at the museum, these would be hands-on and interactive – perfect for the kiddies in your life. Extra space could also include areas for activites and eating that could be used by visiting school trips or events hosted by the museum. There are still questions about funding and exactly when this expansion will take place.
