Not too shabby.
Not too shabby.

OK, here it is. My final mention of Volume One’s big move, new gallery, store re-opening, and all that. You’ve been patient while following our progress, and this issue can officially mark the end of me going on and on about where we’re at on it. The Local Store has been open since late June (and has even hosted a few events already) while we’ve been finishing up the details throughout the building. But we’re now finally having our big Grand Opening Extravaganza and 10-Year Anniversary Party with a big sale, live music, open house, and a whole bunch of fun stuff. You totally should come. It’s on Saturday, July 28 and all the details are on a big spread on page 8-9. You’ll also see on those pages a big ol’ list of all the great local companies we had the pleasure of working with throughout the process.  Pulling a project like this together is more work than I ever thought it could be, but we hope the coming years will prove it was all worth the effort and investment we’ve made in this community. Not only the investment for this remodeling project, but the ten years worth of effort invested in doing what we do. So please, come celebrate with us on July 28. Have a piece of cake, check out our new space, and say hello.
