Harmony Corner Closes, Plans Expanded New Space

Chris Macheichok |

As you may or may not have noticed, downtown Eau Claire’s Harmony Corner Café closed up shop in late November. But if you stopped by and read the note on the door, you know a fresh start is on the horizon for owners Kathy and Greg Brice. With their two-year lease coming to a close, road construction on Barstow looming, and a desire for expansion, the Brices made the decision to move their café to a new location with big changes in store. Preliminary plans for the new location include the addition of a fresh and organic salad bar, a top-shelf deep fryer, and a new selection of premium grass-fed meats to offer a whole new dimension to their eatery. They say to look forward to the new place (and name!) in 2012. As with any closure of a beloved business, the staff and owners have expressed a deep appreciation for their customers for the two years downtown.
