Trevor Kupfer |

Wisconsin Film Festival is now officially accepting entries for its 2012 festival run. Occurring between April 18 and 22 in Madison, Wisconsin Film Festival is arguably the biggest and most coveted film festival in the state. Attendance at this year’s exceeded 35,000 people for 211 films in five days. Submissions must fall into one of two categories: “Wisconsin’s Own” and “Wisconsin’s Own Student.” Entries for students must be postmarked by Dec. 31, while the others must be by Oct. 31. The 2012 festival will not feature films from around the world or “Open Reel” category due to staff changes, but they will be back in 2013. Entry fees range from $10 to $35. Visit WIfilmFest.org for more info including entry guidelines.
