Tribute Concert Includes "Instruments With Character" Sale

Alyssa Schulte |

If you’re looking to make some cash off of that rarely-if-ever played old instrument gathering dust in your basement, we’ve got the event for you. The Unitarian Universalist Congregation will be playing host to a pre-played instrument sale Saturday, September 17 – the same day as Downtown Eau Claire’s International Fall Festival. So if you’re in need of an awesome keyboard or guitar or amp or what-have-you, or if you want to rid yourself of aforementioned musical items, you don’t want to miss this. To make this whole situation even more appealing, a concert –aptly named “Far Out: A Tribute to 1970’s Singer/Songwriters” and featuring the likes of Davey Jones and Evan Middlesworth – will immediately follow the sale. Why not make a day of it? Entry to the sale is free and admission to the concert is a mere $5.
