Halloween, Alaska

The Minneapolis electro-pop outfit is most well-known nationally for having its songs played on The OC, but Eau Claire’s always had a tighter “in” with Halloween, Alaska. They’ve played many tightly packed shows at the House of Rock, establishing a following in the area rivaling their Twin Cities audience. “This signing has been a long time in the making,” says Amble Down Records founder Kyle Frenette. “I’m so glad to see it out there now and no longer under wraps.” All Night, which marks a shift from the band’s common pop-ambiance to a more rock n’ roll heavy formula, comes out digitally on August 30, and on CD and vinyl (an Amble Down first!) on September 20.
