Hot and cold.

Hot and cold.
Here we are in the midst of the freeze-thaw-freeze-thaw mood of a Wisconsin March. The emotional ups and downs of March are a shared experience common to us all. Perhaps for a couple of days things feel great – snow is melting, birds are chirping, and your hat and mittens stay in the house. But then, the pendulum swings and another few inches of white stuff arrives to suffocate spring just a bit longer. And again out come the shovels. The piles of snow: up and down. The temperatures: up and down. The moods: up and down. Freeze-thaw-freeze-thaw. But we endure. Regardless of your level of delight in the snowy winter season – it wears thin about now. We’re ready to move on. To get things started. To enjoy the drippings and puddles and spirit of the final thaw.
