The Waterfront Bar & Grill in Menomonie is hosting some great “kick-ice” recreational events this winter – for real; there will actually be a kickball tournament on the ice. Waterfront hosts winter recreational events every year, but they have a whole new lineup planned for this winter. Every Saturday, starting the last weekend in January to the first weekend in March, you can take part in many different ice events ranging from a Disc Golf Tournament and Ice Softball to a Mountain Bike Race. And, yes, they all happen on ice. Live music from bands like Kazyak, Charlie Parr, and Shoeless Revolution starts at 10pm, bringing an end to these day-long events. All ages are welcome, but you must be 21 or older to drink. See Volume One’s calendars for specific information on each event.
