Mentor this.

In order to further develop Wisconsin as a cultural and artistic hub, the Wisconsin Arts Board Mentorship Program, a division of the Percent for Art Program, was created to pair budding artists (who have not previously received commissions with the program) with mentors who can help develop their skills. Out of all the applicants, up to 15 will be selected and paired with a mentor in their chosen medium. Possible mediums and projects include: 2D, 3D, and relief sculptures, clay works, printmaking, and textiles. The deadline for submissions is January 14. If your creations are considered to be appropriate for the program, you will be contacted for an interview to occur in Madison. Mentees chosen will gain invaluable experience in their field, working on a public arts projects with their mentors. Commissions have allocations of $15,000 to $35,000. More info.
