Downtown Eau Claire is about to get a new place to enjoy a game and a cold one. Playmakers Bar and Grill planned to open October 31, with a grand opening on November 5 and 6. Located at 101 Graham Ave (the former Haymarket Grill), Playmakers will have a plethora of specials, from all-you-can eat high quality crab legs on Saturdays to half price burgers and sandwiches on Sundays. Legal age customers can wash down their meals with an every day $2 domestic pint or $2 Pina Colada on “Tropical Tuesdays.” Sports fans can watch eight large-screen TVs showing different games while they enjoy their meal. Owner Inna Roth is excited about what she feels is a unique atmosphere in downtown Eau Claire. Roth describes it as a “fun place with dancing on Friday and Saturday” and encourages people to “stop by and check it out for themselves.”
