With this issue we bid adieu to Volume One’s busy summer event season. The concert series in Phoenix Park has just one night left. The cinema series ended a few weeks ago. Another successful Chalkfest has come and gone. And a few months back we kicked off the season with our Rock-n-Roll Kickball Classic. Of course it’s always sad to see a busy summer go, but with its passing our little staff gets some of our nights and weekends back, which is nice. Don’t forget though, we’ll be back with our Winter After Hours series in Boyd Park come January, and watch for details on the Back Stage Concert Series at the State Theatre this fall. But don’t fret, you can come see us one last time at International Fall Festival on Barstow Street on September 18.
