UWEC Grad Films Documentary on Peace

Matt Ledger |

It’s time to talk about peace, according to UWEC graduate John Noltner. It’s with that intent that Noltner created A Peace of My Mind, a documentary collection of interviews with subjects as varied as the homeless, reverends, art store owners, and CEOs talking about just one thing: what peace means to them. And, of course, the definition varies from interviewee to interviewee, with some subjects content simply to detail how they find their own inner peace while others are bold enough to imagine a world at peace. The discussions can all be found online at apeaceofmymind.net, accompanied by a black and white photo of each subject. In addition, you can check out Noltner’s A Peace of My Mind blog, with behind the scenes commentary and contributed essays on peace, or compose a “peace” of your own mind and send an essay in yourself.
