Volume One Special Coverage: Pulling Together While Staying Apart

Local Shop Features Wine Dispensing Robot

The future of drinking is now.

The fancy new Enomatic Elite machine at Coffee Grounds takes old-fashioned wine tastings into the future, giving tasters the ability to choose a wine by what’s inside of the bottle instead of by what’s on the outside. Twelve wines are displayed at a given time (and rotated regularly), with the option of one-, three-, or five-ounce samples, so you can decide to get a little taste, buy a bottle, or have a glass with lunch. With the press of a button, you’re off and tasting. The prices range from 50 cents to $20 for a sample (depending on the wine and number of ounces). This is the new wave of wine selection; try a sample today at Coffee Grounds on Eau Claire’s Highway 93!
