Playing with a sound and lyrical skill beyond their years, Casey and Joe is an exceptional duo from local small town Cadott. The strong, yet precise voice of Joe is mellowing, while the soft and soothing voice of Casey is a perfect compliment. Their accompanying guitar and mandolin round out the subtle and relaxing sound of the group, which they refer to as “contemporary folk.” The two have been playing together for years, gaining experience and skill from appearances with their family group Danville, a local band that has been performing for over 25 years. The duo will be playing music from their newly released album Cornerstones and Common Time at The Cabin in UWEC Davies Center on Oct. 24, at 8pm.
