Peter Wolf Crier

The criers.

In many ways, Peter Wolf Crier lends an opportunity for something unique. In an unprompted spark of creativity during the summer of 2008, Peter Pisano (The Wars of 1812) first began the diligent late night process of mapping songs that would eventually become his new musical endeavor. Now after a year of writing and tweaking, he and drummer Brian Moen (Laarks, Amateur Love) are releasing their debut album, Inter-Be. The project gives both members opportunities to work within a completely different state of mind, with a darker, more mysterious style than either of their current outfits. Three octaves of Pisano’s haunting vocals pan from side to side throughout Inter-Be and swirl around tracks of gloomy guitars and Moen’s aggressive percussion. The band will be accompanied by a theatre-style performance as they play the songs from their album at a series of intimate shows called “This Is Not For You,” in the Twin-Cities.
