Volume One Special Coverage: Pulling Together While Staying Apart

Survival Listings: Plasma Clinic

V1 Staff

BioLife Plasma Services
1262 W. Clairemont Ave. • 836-9496 • If you’re in need of some extra cash and don’t have a fear of needles and blood, then donate plasma at this Eau Claire facility. A plasma donor can earn $20 a week and $30 for a second donation that same week. But partiers beware – the clinic monitors protein, iron, and hydration levels, and will reject a donor that is too low or too high. The donation process can take anywhere from one to two hours, so bring a book, iPod, or laptop to keep you from counting ceiling tiles. The saline flush has a tendency to make you cold, so consider a blanket or light jacket as well.
