With football season nearly upon us, many Chippewa Valleyans will soon be pulling their hair as injuries and slumps threaten the playoff hopes of their fantasy team. But CTV’s Gridiron Geeks has returned to channels 993 and 96 to provide premier fantasy football entertainment and tips. The half-hour show, which runs Wednesdays at 7:30pm, Fridays at noon, and Sundays at 9:30 am, examines all aspects of the hobby (rules, starting a league, etc.), with primary focus on player previews and updates. Co-host and producer Terry Meinen, who has 20 years of fantasy football experience, is often joined by local experts. So when your No. 1 quarterback goes down with a broken leg in the first game, no need to fret. Tune in and see who’s the sleeper in your league’s waivers.
