FAST AND FURIOUS. Glenn Seyforth … yes, this man’s photos are in the book Race Fever.

Following your dreams encounters a new twist with the publishing of Race Fever, which features the photographic work of Glenn Seyforth.

Seyforth is a native of Chippewa Falls whose passion for high velocity began as teenager and picked up in the 70s when The Chippewa Herald-Telegram asked him to cover the Indy 500. The new book transmits the photographer’s coverage of the Indianapolis 500 and other races for the more than 40  years that followed.

It highlights Seyforth’s love affair with racing cars and devotes a section to the Chippewa Valley’s own claim to racing fame, Team Menard. Mark Baker, publisher of the Chippewa Valley Newspapers, collaborated with Seyforth on the project.

For racing aficionados everywhere, Race Fever is a quick pick for No. 1, even equal to the Warner-Borg Trophy, and can be found for about $20 at The Chippewa Herald office, located at 321 Frenette Dr., Chippewa Falls.
