SCHOOLS NEED A REFERENDUM
I recently did a project on budget solutions for the Eau Claire School District. I thought I could share my idea for a solution with you. I believe that the only logical solution is that Eau Claire community needs to pass a referendum, because the local school district has no influence over the amount of money our district receives from federal government or state funds.

The referendum would help expand the educational resources the students have, because with our budget cuts they are limited. It will also save many teachers’ jobs. Some people don’t seem to realize that the quality of education in our school district will affect us all at some point.
We need to inform those citizens on the importance of a good education, and that the quality of education that society’s most valued stakeholders, the children, receive impacts how our larger and local society will exist in the future.
