On December 22, locals will have the unique privilege of seeing its hometown phenom finish off its famed tour in their backyard when Bon Iver plays The State Theatre. Bon Iver is also extending a special gift to its hometown as its brand new EP, titled “Blood Bank,” will be available at the show, a whole month ahead of the official release date. A T-shirt that hasn’t yet been seen stateside will also be up for grabs. Another local favorite, Michael Perry, will open the show. Smack dab in the middle of the holiday season, this concert is in the spirit of giving. The gentlemen plan to donate a portion of their profits to the Bolton Refuge House’s effort to alleviate domestic violence. The show is already sold out, but do not fret, you can catch them on Letterman on December 11.
