Loren Bauer passed away in February of 2012. We was a teacher at Memorial High School in Eau Claire and well known in the Durand music scene. This video was posted by his son, who says, "This song was written by my dad about the little town he grew up in – Durand, Wisconsin. My dad loved Durand so much. I know he would've enjoyed everyone hearing this."
