Still the best deli in the Chippewa Valley. Their cran-wheatberry salad is the best side I have ever had at a sandwich store. Could someone please open up a mirror version of Lucy's in Eau Claire? All we have are chains, outside of The Nucleus Cafe.

I love this place. Extremely fresh veggies in the food, and the red curry is some of the best that I have ever had. This is the best Asian cuisine restaurant in the Chippewa Valley, bar none.

I am amazed at the other reviews on this place. We eat at as many local restaurants as possible, and this was our latest endeavor. The sandwiches had meat that was not fully thawed, the bread was mediocre, and the soup was about as inspiring as if I had brought a can opener and simply cracked open the Campbell's Cream of Chicken and Wild Rice myself. With other quality options in the area for lunch/breakfast fare, I won't be going back.

Super disappointing the last time I went here. We got the corned beef and cabbage, which was so salty that it was completely inedible. Who is preparing the corned beef at this place? Whoever it is obviously lost his/her sense of taste.

Best deli sandwiches in the Chippewa Valley. The breads, meats, and cheeses are all high-quality and fresh. Thank goodness we still have places like Lucy's to fill the huge void left by the fast food restaurants and other sandwich places that serve cheap, processed crap. Can't wait till my next trip to Chippewa Falls for a Reuben!

When you get a chicken sandwich that is RED (ie., raw) in the middle you have to give a place a 1. Seriously, are they trying their hardest to see if they can give people food poisoning? Another complaint would be the fries, which were WAY to greasy (not drained before being brought to the table). Hopefully these guys can make improvements, because the atmosphere (which is about a 4 out of 5) deserves better food.

So bad it hurts. Literally. This was some of the worst Chinese food you could hope to eat. Service was brutal, the atmosphere was extremely odd, and the price was actually high if you aren't one of the patrons who is loading up on 10 lbs of garbage. To each his or her own, but this is really bad food.

The pizza is first rate. Not a drop of grease on their excellent thin crust 'za. As for the rest of the food, it is really mediocre. The fried calamari was extremely bland and greasy. The salads were no better or worse than any chain in town. In my opinion, you should stick with the pizza and avoid the other high-priced and low-taste options at Draganetti's.

I would literally eat at the Nucleus Cafe 3-5 times per week if I lived near campus. Their omelletes, sandwiches, crepes, pancakes, French toast, bacon, and coffee are all phenomenal. The seating in the front is cold in winter, but the spacious area behind Racy's coffee lounge more than make up for it. This is definitely the one restaurant in Eau Claire that I would hate to live without.

Mogie's is consistently good. The burgers are simple, tasty and worth the trip to Water St. Not including fries with sandwiches makes your meal a bit pricey, but I am willing to pay a little more to get the high quality that you find a Mogie's. As far as service, I happen to like the fact that you don't have a dedicated waiter/waitress. We were constantly being monitored by the friendly staff, and certainly never left wanting.
