Originally from the cities, but in love with what Eau Claire has to offer for the present and possibilities for the future.

Clancy's has a style all it's own. Most people that come in are willing to strike up a conversation with anyone. The mixed drinks are served strong and cheap in mason jars. They have a good selection of beers that changes seasonally. The jukebox is pretty much awesome, same with the bartenders.

A very cool place to go with family/friends. Food is great and the atmosphere is very appealing (intimate and woodsy). The stage they have is very cool and on Sunday's they have some great bands (you can hear them from the other side of the pond). My boyfriend is in love with their trout spread.

Reviewed: The Livery (aka Cowtown Saloon)

The Livery has a great fish fry every Friday night (as far as I'm aware) that involves some of the best grouper, tarter sauce and cole slaw in E.C. There is a blue cheese stuffed steak on their menu that will please any carnivore. I'll admit the first time I went here the service wasn't satisfactory but I've been back many times and the servers/bartenders have always been pleasant and informative on both the food and decent selection of beer. All around a great place for food, drinks and conversation.

Reviewed: Amber Inn Bar & Grill

I normally love the Amber Inn's burgers but I went there a month ago and they had changed. The patties were frozen and the buns were very standard, the type you would find at a grocery store. I hope it was just an off day as I was greatly saddened. In the past it has always been a delight to have their burgers.
