What has Chippewa Valley residents ranting and raving about alternative health? Everyday people, just like you, are turning their lives upside down through a comprehensive program being offered right in our backyard.  Dr. Mike and Julie Court of Chippewa Falls Chiropractic (soon to be renamed “Chippewa Falls Wellness”) have been using their clinic for more than just cracking backs lately. After years of advanced clinical training, Dr. Mike Court is now offering the unique program of Nutrition Response Testing to the public – and is seeing stunning results. The walls of his establishment are plastered with the testimonials of ecstatic patients who have seen improvements in their overall health and the dissipation of many chronic problems like fibromyalgia and psoriasis.

The secret behind the success of Nutrition Response Testing is the idea that the process uses your body’s own operating system to communicate what the problem is, as opposed to a doctor’s best-guess diagnosis. While Dr. Court is a naturopath and health educator and cannot diagnose or treat the symptoms of any disease, the idea behind the program is to give your body the specific tools it needs to resolve any problems on its own.

“There is no smarter computer than the human body,” says Julie Court.

Nutrition Response Testing begins with what every good wellness program should incorporate: education. Even while in the waiting room biding time before an appointment, patients are presented with an informational video made by the founder of NRT, Dr. Freddie Ulan. From there you are taught about the intricacies of the program and exactly how and why they work. This is important, because someone who understands what they are doing is much more inclined to stick it out for the long haul.

From there, a few non-invasive tests are conducted to determine the root cause of any health conditions. Your body contains its own electrical network, and problems can be determined by locating the source of any inconsistencies in this network. For example, a patient might be asked to hold their arm out horizontally while an examiner pushes down on it, an easy task for a properly functioning electrical system. But when a pressure point is selected and depressed, a problem in the underlying organ or system might be demonstrated through a subsequent weakening and drop of the arm.

From there, the clinician will utilize something called Designed Clinical Nutrition, a program that uses multiple organic, whole food based supplements that will fill voids found in your current diet through the analysis, giving your body the substances required to heal itself the way it was designed. Through this innovative program, Chippewa Falls Chiropractic has become one of the fastest growing whole food suppliers in Wisconsin, which speaks to the successes the program has seen in its short time on the market.

To allow the supplements their full potency, NRT patients go through “gradient diet change,” which is a slow transition to healthy eating habits that prevents shock to your system and makes it easier for people to stay on track.

Nutrition Response Testing isn’t a one-time deal, either. People come back for re-checks regularly and continue to improve over the course of months and years. In the words of Julie, “This is a program for ordinary people who would like help in the process of making changes to a healthy lifestyle,” although the non-existence of NRT patients looking for higher performance in athletic events is rather surprising, especially in termed “fitness sports.” She added, “We sell supplements that assist in oxygen utilization and other functions that would help athletes perform at a higher level.”

So this year, take advantage of the opportunity to see your New Year’s resolutions through to fruitation. Chippewa Falls Chiropractic is always ready to put more excited testimonials on its walls. Yours could be next.
