Eau Claire is about to get a fry of a lot better, with the expected opening of four new fast food chains in the next couple weeks! From hamburgers to coffee and from donuts to sandwiches, these new places are not to be missed! Here is a hot ’n’ ready list with all of the new eateries coming your way:

FIVE GUYS

This cult favorite chain earned its hype by using the highest quality ingredients and letting customers watch while they make their savory burgers. Their famous fries are cooked in peanut oil, making them extra delicious. While the menu seems deceptively simple, there are more than 250,000 possible order combinations – and we’re excited to try them all! Five Guys will conveniently be located right inside Oakwood Mall. While it’s still too early to tell when it will open, construction is underway now.

EINSTEIN / CARIBOU

Finally, a one-stop shop for the best coffee and bagels! Your favorite coffee and bagel chains all wrapped up into one! While there are already a few Caribou coffee shops around EC, this will be the first off-campus Einstein to shmear our streets. The Einstein and Caribou combo is located at 807 W. Clairemont Ave., right along Stein Boulevard, and it’s already open! Swing by the drive-through or stop in for perfect breakfast combo!.

DUNKIN’ DONUTS

Eau Claire will soon run on donuts with the opening of a second Dunkin’ Donuts this later month. Dunkin’ offers a huge variety of donuts, baked goods, and breakfast sandwiches but also offers other sandwich combinations such as turkey and chicken. Coffee is king at Dunkin’ but there is also a beverage selection of juices and smoothies. This new Dunkin will be located at 1431 S. Hastings Way. While the exact opening date is still up in the air, management hopes it will be up and serving donuts by Oct. 18-19.

JIMMY JOHN’S

Looking for something freaky fast? Freaky fresh? Well, you only have to wait a couple more weeks! This gourmet sandwich shop is going downtown to 213 N. Barstow St. next to the newly opened Northbound Supply Co. and down the street from Haymarket Landing. The expected opening date is Nov. 14.

Keep your eyes (and stomachs) open for these mouth-watering openings to hit Eau Claire!
