Haymarket Grill

Contemporary American style cuisine that constantly evolves in tune with the seasons, assuring some of the freshest ingredients in the valley. Porter’s

Make sure you take a gander at Porter’s beautiful bar, decked out in rich woodwork (not to mention 12 beer taps). A steak, seafood, and chop house, Porter’s has a classy atmosphere where diners can enjoy everything from upscale suppers to the popular lunchtime meatloaf. Open for breakfast every day, and featuring a worldly menu of Indian, Arabian, and Mexican items. Open late on weekends, private party/meeting room available, and vegetarian friendly.

Raw Deal

A local oasis for the raw food movement, Raw Deal doesn't cook any of its food. The menu, which changes daily, blends organic produce to create entrées near-identical in taste to heat-prepped cuisine. Made with locally grown veggies, you'll find items like creamy green enchiladas, stuffed Portobello mushrooms, and savory cabbage rolls. Specialty beer and wines are also on the menu. The shop also features a bakery and full service coffee bar. Check out the organic fruit smoothies and the key lime bars. Open Sunday mornings, catering services, and very vegetarian friendly.

The Water Street Deli

This combination deli/restaurant/grocery store specializes in Mediterranean cuisine such as falafel, gyros, hummus, baba ghanoush, and chicken kebabs. They also offer traditional American items such as Philly Steak sandwiches and burgers. Open late and lunch specials available Monday through Saturday, vegetarian friendly.

Zanzibar Restaurant and Pub

Deep red walls and rich hardwood accents create a warm and relaxing setting for an exciting, eclectic meal at Zanzibar. The menu contains numerous original dishes inspired by a variety of international cuisines. The most popular item, lavosh, is a thin, cracker bread topped with cheese, veggies, and a variety of meats such as the persian chicken. The bar can stir up over 60 kinds of martinis, and the wine list exceeds 80 bottles. If given the lead time (phone well ahead), Zanzibar's chefs will even create custom meals. Very vegetarian friendly (any meal can be altered), open late on weekends, and reservations recommended on weekends.
