Norske Nook at Northwoods Brewpub

Not a good experience. Bad burger- probably full of fillers and not much of a burger "bite" to it. I think a lot of places use that "Cloud" burger which is pretty bad- We also had a chicken fillet that was cooked rare and some deep fried shrimp that weren't bad. I think they need some menu changes. Some of our friends have had similar experiences out there. Good atmosphere but bad food.

Draganetti's Ristorante

If you like bland nursing home food you won't be disappointed. If you really think this is good Italian food you need to get out of EC fast!! Just a waste of calories and money. The service was good. We will never eat there again!

Milwaukee Burger Company

Best burger in Eau Claire (!) but slow service if it's busy. Fried pickles way too salty, but I have tried 3 different burgers now and none have disappointed. Bacon and brown sugar, relish, bacon, fried onions, blue cheese... there's so much to choose from. If you're looking for a vegetarian place, have you noticed the name of the restaurant? No it shouldn't be listed as vegetarian friendly and no, it's not a choice if you are watching your caloric intake. Want some amazing sweet potato fries and a juicy burger? This is the spot. Huge portions. I have yet to eat more than 1/3 of the side dish and happily suffer to eat the entire burger.

Asia Palace

Just say no! Let me count the ways: 1-We walked in to see a dry fountain and fish in containers. Hmmm. 2-We had to flag someone down to wait on us. 3-No menus. 4-The cook stationed at the sushi bar had some sort of wet cough (I'll spare the details). 5-The food was poor...poor enough that my husband was ill the next day. 6- When it was time to pay we had to hunt someone down and no one seemed to know what to charge. Do you need a 7?

Haymarket Grill

I went back to the haymarket last weekend and they were so busy we had to wait which is good for them. So my wife and I went to the bar and they have too many good beers to choose from, but my wife got the caramel apple martini and I think she loves the drink more than me. Anyway the meal was delicious they have a new and even better menu than the last time I was there which impressed me a lot I thought the last on was good. But i just want to say this place never lets me down I can't say enough for how wonderful everything is from the moment you walk in the door and they redecorated the downstairs it looks marvelous
