Azul Tequila

Wow! My husband and I went out Saturday with another couple. We all were very impressed with the decor, service and food. Great margaritas, good portions and very reasonable prices. We will be going back with our family as well as recommending this place. TRY IT!!!!

Raw Deal

Great space, cafe atmosphere. Love that you can get beer, wine and coffee. The cold food is an adjustment, but the raw lasagna was delicious. Didn't care for the coffee, but the espresso was perfect. Staff was very friendly. Very good local beer selection. One HUGE drawback though....they close at 6pm.

Zanzibar Restaurant and Pub

First visit was a great experience. We dined late night and shared food. The Opah Lavosh was delish. Also tried the calamari, sweet potato fries and the chicken wings the the blueberry habanero sauce. All were fantastic. Great beer selection and huge drink menu. The staff was patient and accommodating of our large group. Big Thumbs Up!

Acoustic Café, Menomonie

The hot chocolate was bitter because they use real unsweetened chocolate. All you have to do is add some sugar or splenda! :-) I love love love Acoustic and spent many many hours there studying when I went to Stout. Never had bad coffee... and the scones are amazing!

Acoustic Café, Menomonie

I'm not sure how you can possibly screw up hot chocolate, but Acoustic Cafe managed to do just that. When I told them the hot chocolate tasted bitter and not at all chocolatey, they said "we could make another one, but it'll come out exactly the same." I told them not to bother. The coffee was also crap--not cold but certainly not hot, and weak. We had to go to Raw Deal to get coffee and hot chocolate. At least the chili was good--but they definitely lost a customer.
