Best coffee in Eau Claire, hands down. |
by ecfoodcritic |
The Goat is the "Cheers" of Eau Claire. Seriously, everybody knows my name and they're always glad I came. I simply walk in and the latte is made, the scones are selected, the BS is shared, and we're all happy clams for the rest of the day ahead. The Goat is truly our community coffee house. No contest. |

The goat is amazing! I absolutely love that super happy guy... I seriously come back just for him --- and the food. and the coffee. |

The Goat is the best place to go for oatmeal. You can put anything in your oatmeal----including ice cream! |

Very pleasant. Good pricing. Good sandwiches and coffee. I like that they have local art displayed as well. |

The Goat is my favorite coffehouse of the valley. The sandwiches are fabulous, the tea/coffee selection is great, and there's even ice cream. The owner is frequently working behind the counter and is probably about the coolest guy on earth. Always super-friendly and helpful. There's literally nothing bad I can say about The Goat. They're consistently less crowded or noisy than Racy's/The Nucleus and have better hours overall. |

They have amazing sandwiches. They are very vegetarian friendly and they have an interesting combination of sandwich choices. If you aren't into a particular sandwich selection, you can make your own- which is pretty cool. They also have a great selection of beverages. It is a great place to hang out at or study at. Also, the staff was very friendly (and the service was very quick). |

Not only does this coffee house make the BEST mochas, but the owners and staff are wonderful. The owners demonstrate a daily focus on people and community. |

Someone bought me a fancy sandwich at the Goat and we sat in the window - pretty cool! The espresso and cookies are really good too. |
