After over six years of planning and work, the community was invited to the grand opening of the Pablo Center at the Confluence on Saturday, Sept. 22. The day started with a series of opening speeches. Then a ribbon cutting was followed by an afternoon of performances inside and outside the new arts center from the likes of  The Torch Sisters, UWEC Jazz I, the Ukulele Klub, CVAGsing, UWEC's marching band, and more. As the music played locals enjoyed an open house, meandering through the huge buildingss many rooms and galleries.
