The first installment of the Eau Claire Dance Festival, Act I, was set to include five modern dance performances focused on improvisation scattered throughout downtown Eau Claire. Due to inclement weather, performances were limited to the Volume One Gallery at The Local Store and the lobby of The State Theater.   The festival was an ode to the rebirth of downtown Eau Claire, intended to spotlight dance while celebrating the vibrant Eau Claire arts scene and the confluence of forces making that happen. The Festival took place on Saturday, August 26.
