UW-Eau Claire's 51st Annual Eau Claire Jazz Festival featured headliners Doc Severinsen and Carl Allen on Friday and Saturday night, performing with Jazz Ensemble I at The State Theatre downtown. Photos are from Saturday, April 22. 

Entertaining audiences with flashy performances, Doc Severinsen is best known for leading the NBC Orchestra on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. Milwaukee-born Carl Allen is an accomplished performer, sideman, educator, businessman, and artistic director, and is dedicated to the future of jazz. Allen has released several CD’s as a group leader.
