2 S. Barstow Mural Removal (Barstow side)

Workers remove the mural that has graced the front of the 2 S. Barstow Street building in downtown Eau Claire for years. The mural was part of a community DIT (Do It Together) project to dress up the neglected structure. Recently purchased from the City of Eau Claire by local developer/old building lover John Mogensen, you can expect to see more changes to the property's facade. The fate of the murals, especially the ones in the widows on the building's river-facing side has yet to be fully determined.
