Last Chance to Park Yourself ...
... at the Sounds Like Summer Concert Series 2010, that is. This Thursday is your last chance to join family, friends, and neighbors on the grass and giant rocks surrounding the Phoenix Park labyrinth for a concert with the Chippewa River and that evening’s sunset as the backdrop. Bring a blanket and enjoy the local sounds.
We like to have Extra Super Fun on the last night of the year, so we lined up the Chippewa Valley’s premier funksters Duncan Ninja – comprised of two suave singers, five hot horns, and a ripe rhythm section.
Joining them are local “tin can folk” practitioners The Heart Pills, crooning some of the most original music in the Valley. And opening the concert with a 6pm pre-show is pop/acoustic band More Amore. See you there!
