That big “presidential” election is finally over, and you’re probably feeling the first bitter spasms of withdrawal. No more campaign coverage on TV. No more amazingly thought-provoking automated phone calls. Not more awkward conversations with “get out the vote” volunteers on your doorstep. No more late-night expeditions to steal your neighbor’s yard sign … sigh.

Well, buck up, little campers! Volume One’s got even more election results for you to obsess over – The Best of the Chippewa Valley 2008 reader poll results are in! That’s right, it’s finally time to see who/what you voted as best/worst/favorite in all things Chippewa Valley-ish. Look to the right and you’ll see a list of the poll’s categories, all ready to be clicked and enjoyed.

The results are different than what you saw while the voting was in full swing, and you could track the results in real time. For the final tabulations, we removed all the negative “Boo” votes and only counted your positive “Yay” votes.

And hey, if you click before this afternoon, you’ll be getting a sneak peek of the poll results, as we’ve yet to publish them anywhere else. That’s how much we like you.

Please leave comments on the results and let us know what you think!
