Ancient Oceans Come Alive at the Pablo Center

Typically diving into a book (or maybe Loch Ness) is the only way to get face-to-face with prehistoric aquatic beasts. That will change on March 8 when Erth’s Prehistoric Aquarium Adventure comes to the RCU Theatre in the Pablo Center at the Confluence.

The show promises to use “actors, technology, puppets, science, and imagination to create an amazing visual experience that connects young audiences to the real science of paleontology.” Two years ago, the same troupe brought a live dinosaur zoo to the State Theatre.

This time around, curious kids (and their grown-ups) will plunge into an immersive experience replicating the oceans of millions of years ago, when giant reptiles ruled both land and sea! These “explorers” will meet long-necked plesiosauruses, colorful comb jellies, fierce-looking angler fish, and many more denizens of the deep, all brought to life with theatrical magic. For dino-loving kids, it’s a can’t-miss opportunity to travel through time without leaving town!
