A lot can happen to a kid in twelve years, especially when they're going to school in  countries that won’t or can’t support the importance of education.

Time for School, a longitudinal documentary project inspired by the Millennium Development Goal for Education for All, follows five students located in multiple countries from 2003-2016 as they struggle to get a basic education. This gripping project highlights the challenges (poverty, child labor, early marriage, the death of a parent, and war) students face while trying to remain focused on their learning.

If you are interested, Wisconsin Public Television will air the documentary on September 22 at 1pm, but it is available online any time at PBS.org. In addition to the full-length movie, the site also includes many opportunities to support the program and the cause.
