Farms have found a new way to utilize their resources by harvesting fresh, homegrown ingredients to craft mouth-watering pizzas that can be enjoyed right there on the farm. Round up your family and friends for a summer picnic on one of Wisconsin’s pizza farms!

AtoZ Produce and Bakery, located just east of the Mississippi River, has developed quite the following for their highly regarded pizza nights. Once winter is behind us, AtoZ opens its doors to serve unique, wood-fired pizzas to hoards of hungry customers. Wait times increase significantly as the days get warmer, but pizza will be served rain or shine. AtoZ now also serves wine and beer by the bottle. If you’re in a rush and can’t stay to enjoy the atmosphere, the folks at AtoZ would be more than happy to fix you up a pizza to go!

Farm to Fork Retreat

Located on 21 acres along the Buffalo River near Mondovi, Farm to Fork Retreat serves up overnight accommodations, vacation and event rentals, as well as wood-fired pizza nights during the warmer months. On Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 5-9pm they fire up the brick oven and cook pizza pies covered with home-grown organic toppings and grass-fed meats. Dine on picnic tables inside the barn or out, enjoy an adult beverage from the Milk-House Bar, and bring your own chairs for a bonfire as the sun sets.

Stoney Acres offers a range of seasonal pizzas in addition to their rotating selection of specials. The Stone Barn in Nelson will have you raving about its hand rolled crusts and homegrown toppings. All of the meats used as toppings are locally raised and hand-seasoned so that every bite bursts with flavor. Don’t forget dessert! The Stone Barn also serves ice cream so you won’t have to leave without satisfying that sweet tooth. New pizzas are added to the menu often, but you can always customize your pizza with the “build your own” option.
