Love Bug Valentine’s are easy for kids to put together themselves and all the supplies can be at the dollar store.

You Will Need ...

• Heart Shaped Slinky (Stretch these out before you get started!)
• Pompom for head
• Foam hearts for feet
• Googly Eyes
• Pipe cleaner
• Glue (Hot glue works best, but school glue works too!)

Instructions ...

Step One: Wrap a pipe cleaner around the pompom to create the antenna. You can leave the ends straight or twist around a pencil to create spirals.

Step Two: Glue the head and heart feet to the ends of the slinky.

Step Three: Add googly eyes.

Step Four: Let Dry.

Seriously. They’re that simple to make. To use as valentines, you can attach a simple note separately or write directly on the feet!
