Picture it: Eau Claire, February, 2008. Someone tells themselves that no one should have to pay to advertise a thrift sale. The very idea of a “thrift sale” says cheap and easy, right? A brainstorm! Why not start a yahoo group that’s free for anyone to use? That way people can post the sales they’re having, that they’ve been to, or that they’ve seen listed other places!
