JAMF calls on local artists to fill their halls

V1 Staff |

When the JAMF Headquarters are finished, they'll look a lot realer.
When the JAMF building is finished later this year, it'll look a lot realer.

JAMF Software is a company that’s stayed pretty close to home, despite having around 300 employees spread across the globe. The tech start-up is a major donor to The Confluence Project, supports the city-wide clean up every year, sponsored Jazz Fest, and is building their new office in the Phoenix Park Neighborhood.

To add to the list, they’ve got an idea for that building –  to fill it with local art.

JAMF Software is accepting proposals to commission a pretty hefty number of pieces of art from local artists and UW-Eau Claire alumni to fill the walls in their new office. JAMF’s Becky Wurzer said the decision was partly to showcase the talent of local artists and support them, but also to benefit their employees to create an “increased atmosphere and a lively, collaborative, inspired space.”

The call is looking for finished original work or proposals for commissioned work in a few different sizes. Proposals are due June 13. More details are below.
