For the ninth summer in a row, Phoenix Park will be packed with well over 1,000 people every Thursday night from 6:30-8:30pm for Volume One’s Sounds Like Summer Concert Series. Kicking off June 5, the series will be as robust as last year with food, vendors, kubb, and – of course – music. The Wisconsin Bike Federation will again be hosting a bike valet to keep your ride safe and out of the way. Also this year, Volume One will again be holding a fundraising campaign to help pay the musicians. Over the summer 38 bands – composed of 150+ musicians – will play. V1 will start things off by donating $1,500 towards the goal of $7,000 – which would guarantee no less than $250 per featured band and $25 for each acoustic opener.
