Confluence Project media event to include Justin Vernon, JAMF founder Zach Halmstad, UWEC Chancellor

Volume One will be hosting/live streaming a media only event on Thursday, September 19 at 3pm featuring a panel discussion on the cultural and economic impact of the Confluence Project. The event will feature Grammy award winning musician Justin Vernon and founding partner of JAMF Software Zach Halmstad, along with five other panelists, including James Schmidt, Chancellor of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

To be held in the Volume One Gallery, this will be the first in a series of Confluence Project press conferences. Vernon and Halmstad will be at the Sept.19 event specifically to discuss the Confluence Project’s impact on local artists, retention of young professionals and future collaborations with nationally recognized artists.                                                                        

Volume One will live stream the event on www.volumeone.org. Media representatives are encouraged to ask questions gathered from their audiences and constituents. Online viewers will be able to submit questions to a moderator through the Volume One website.
