Local organizing service Straighten-Up Organizing and local garbage company ProVyro Waste Services, LLC will both be featured on TLC’s Hoarding: Buried Alive this Sunday. In case you haven't heard, the show is about individuals who are obsessed with saving items in large quantities that most people would toss in the trash.

Straighten-Up Organizing owner Nancy Rothwell –   an Eau Claire-based professional organizer with degrees in sociology and psychology – spent two months working with  Kathy, a local homeowner, on her organizational revamp. TLC had contacted Rothwell because she often works with chronic hoarders.

ProVyro had the opportunity to helped out with the actual junk removal. Joe Craven, co-owner of ProVryro, commented, “We have done (junk removal), but not to this extent.”

The companies helped make the process a little less stressful for Kathy – sorting through boxes with her instead of just tossing everything right away. “It’s not a one man job, it’s a whole crew,” Craven said.

The show is scheduled to air this Sunday, August 19 at 8pm CST on the TLC Network.
