V1 staffer begins epic hike for charity

Starting today, a long-time member of Volume One's staff, Shawn Brunner, is taking a four-month sabbatical from us to hike the entire 2,000+ mile Appalachian Trail to raise money for National Suicide Prevention – in honor of his brother, Joe. To foster this, he and his wife started a non-profit company called Nature Helps, which several V1 staff have helped launch.
