EC Parks Association contributed over $63k to local parks in 2011

The Eau Claire Community Parks Association is pleased to announce that the non-profit foundation contributed over $63,640 in 2011 to local park projects. The largest contribution was to complete an access trail at the Eau Claire Soccer Park which included paving and landscape work ($18,450). The Association also provided $15,840 to fund scoreboard updates at the Carson Park Baseball Stadium. Additional funding was provided to the Farmer's Market (Kiosk), Baseball Stadium Wall of Fame (Bronze plaques for new inductees), Forest Street Community Gardens (Garden and irrigation equipment), Purchasing a Ski Trail Groomer, Purchasing benches for Domer Park, and Sponsorship of the Amazing Eau Claire Clean-Up Day. Projects planned for 2012 include funding for a Skateboard Park to built at Lakeshore Playground, and funding for a lighting project at the Fairfax Little League Baseball Fields. The Eau Claire Community Parks Association is a non-profit foundation dedicated to promoting and enhancing support for Eau Claire's parks and public recreational lands.
