Just grate.

RAIL FAIL.

In case you haven’t heard, yesterday the U.S. DOT said, “Fine, we’ll just give our hundreds of millions of dollars to someone who wants it.” From WEAU:

Plans for a high-speed rail in Wisconsin are stopped in their tracks. Thursday the U.S. Department of Transportation announced $810 million is en route elsewhere.

The money would have gone toward a line between Madison and Milwaukee. It was envisioned to later extend northwest to the Twin Cities. Now, people pushing to get that extension through Eau Claire say they'll have to re-evaluate after the shock of the DOT’s announcement wears off. Read more.

The money will be reallocated to other states who want trains.
