Julie Seymour, Goldsmith

Julie Seymour practices granulation, a 2500 year old metalworking technique (eutectic bonding) is a specialized version of fusing where tiny spheres “granules” are attached to a sheet of 22K gold with such a delicate fillet that they appear to be simply set into place. The result is a rich yet delicate pattern of great beauty.
